New scans of medium format studio shots, cross process - Steve XProcess new scan
I've bought a Nikon Coolscan 8000 which does medium format - here's a new scan of my Xprocess 6x6 Bronica SQ shot of Steve, 2009, Fuji colour neg film (RDPW?), crossprocessed. This is closer to what was shot - strangely the prints I got back in 2009 had a yellow/green cast which I like but looks rather odd - and isn't completely on the negs!) - Kirk medium format 2009

Hmm I quite like this shot but obviously not totally successful...was hand holding the Bronica and focusing while looking down is kind of fun (ie: hard) and I obviously gave his hard critical focus - might have been intentional but I'd have preferred the face to be in critical focus! These are part of a series trying high-key photography via a fashion method bouncing loads of light behind the subject to get a soft, ethereal feel - problem was not enough light came back onto the subject, it's really hard to balance it. - Shiggi 6x7 (cropped)
Ilford PF4 medium format black and white, 6x7cm - I forget which camera, there was a massive one that looked like an overscale SLR I think it was a Pentax 6x7? Either that or a TLR but I think TLRs are usually square.
