    Actually he did – the trend of most depictions of any royal is make them younger, but here’s an early colour shot from a few years before he died – he’s mostly white

    Amazing Edward VI colour litho – must be very late hence the white beard, who said history was dull?

    Is Edward VII and the one who colored this made it awfully since he never had a white beard  like that

    Both Steichen and Steiglitz are influences of mine, although sometimes surreal books of Paul Nash are probably closer.
