Stop Gay Racism & Internalised Homophobia: The iGays Are Way Too Sick: TURN OFF THE LIFE SUPPORT!

Sadly a lot of truth here…so many entitlement issues and assimilation in the gay scene – I suspect a lot of the gay marriage stuff is coming from that standpoint too, as queer who doesn’t fit bodily or my relationships I expect my lifestyle will be thrown to the dogs when those queers get their Great Dark Man and 2.4 kittens. And that’s the problem – Quentin Crisp’s Great Dark Man is a fantasy, doesn’t exist. Too many people trying to conform to a stereotype or large set of ideals which leads to unhappiness – a lot of the other profile sites are full of ‘wants’ and ticklist of what they physically want in a partner…I doubt they’d ever find it.

People aren’t like that, they’re not Adonises, and if they are then they probably go to the gym too much and have no life/personality.

Disagree with the versatile/bottom comments – yes a lot of men want to be fucked by a Great Dark Man in the gay scene…but if you lose or alter the performance hangup you can be a different sort of sexual partner, free your mind, lose the porn face & dialog and sex work ethic and explore…strict roles are for porn or SM. And you can be truly versatile – but not if you have a weird idea of ubermensch Super Top with an attitude problem…that won’t work. Rarely does anyway, those people are usually full of shit ot flaky. Or actually bottoms in disguise.
