Just looked through my feed and there’s STILL not enough kilts on Tumblr. I’m here to rectify this.
By the way in less than a month me and my partner should be wearing full Scottish costume inc kilts at my Dad’s wedding 😉

Baroque department
Baroque is just dizzying, even the neo (?) victorian version.
I can tell you via the wonder that is Google Search (oh Tin Eye how thou days are numbered) this is Gath Y Chávez department store in Buenos Aires, if my reading of Spanish is correct (which is probably isn’t – EDIT found the English link, it was). I think this is <=1918.
You see, like those who post without caring – I do my research, bitches!

You see I don’t just blog about such bearded Victorian topper wearing blokes or kilts…
…I wear it too.
Here I am in an early 1900 evening suit, Lindsay tartan waistcoat, silk dickie bow, and topper at a friend’s wedding. The only out of place thing is the shoes, which are CATs – need to get some proper Oxford brogues. And a silk topper if I can afford one!

More Nigel Bruce as Watson – don’t intend to post (m)any other depictions but have to say Nigel Bruce rocked in the Victorian hat/tweed/pipe combo!
